In diesem praxisorientierten Workshop mit Marta Paccani tauchen wir gemeinsam in die Welt des Recordings ein. Im Mittelpunkt steht Ausprobieren, Hören, Vergleichen und Lernen – direkt an praktischen Beispielen.
Gemeinsam gehen wir die wichtigsten Schritte einer Recording-Session durch:
von der Planung und Vorbereitung über die Mikrofonierung und den Umgang mit Raumakustik bis hin zur Auswahl der besten Takes.
Wir sprechen über Live-Aufnahmen versus Overdubbing, typische Stolperfallen – und natürlich, wie man sie vermeidet. Hier bekommst du das praktische Recording-Wissen, das du direkt in deinen eigenen Projekten anwenden kannst!

How does a truly great recording come to life – and how can you recognize it?
In this hands-on workshop with Marta Paccani, we’ll dive together into the world of recording. The focus is on experimenting, listening, comparing, and learning – all through practical examples.
Step by step, we’ll explore the key stages of a recording session: Ffrom planning and preparation to microphone techniques and room acoustics, all the way to choosing the best takes. We’ll discuss live recording versus overdubbing, common pitfalls – and, of course, how to avoid them.
In the second part, Marta will offer a short introduction and outlook on editing and mixing, showing how a strong recording can become a cohesive, polished production.

Additional Part: If you want to stay, it's time for further individual question. Marta will explain the next processing steps (i.e. some editing and mixing techniques).
